Effect of Loan Cost Liberation on the Exhibition of Store Cash Banks in Nigeria
Abstract The study examined the effect of loan cost liberation on the exhibition of store cash banks in Nigeria for the period of 32 years. As part of the methodology, annual data between 1990 to 2021 was collected and used in the study while descriptive statistics, correlation matrix and regression was used which reveals that base loaning rate affects absolute bank store of Store Cash Bank in Nigeria and furthermore financial arrangement rate altogether affects all out bank store of Store Cash Bank in Nigeria. Public Reserve funds was found to affect absolute bank store of Store Cash Bank in Nigeria. Ultimately, store rate was found to fundamentally affect all out bank store of Store Cash Bank in Nigeria. It was concluded that Nigerian banks remain dominant in the financial system, with significant advances and loans to both public and private sectors.
